Patient Care and Transportation Committee
The Patient Care and Transportation Committee is responsible for the review, evaluation and protocol development related to accessing the trauma system, pre-hospital care, communications and dispatching, and field triage. Other responsibilities for the committee include protocol review, evaluation and development related to facility triage, diversion and bypass criteria, and inter-facility transfers. This committee also reviews the Trauma Plan.
Mission:
The mission of the Patient Care and Transportation Committee is to Provide an open environment conducive to collaboration and coordination between providers and stakeholders of issues, concerns, and ideas for improvement in the transport and care of the injured an ill patients.
