Systems Performance Improvement Committee
The Systems Performance Improvement Committee (SPI) is responsible for oversight of emergency healthcare system performance improvement activities of RAC-R. The Systems Performance Improvement Committee is comprised of two sub-committees; the Open SPI Committee and the Closed SPI Committee.
The Open SPI Committee develops and reviews system performance standards for the RAC, utilizing information from the Texas Trauma Registry and other data collection sites.
The Closed SPI committee reviews and analyzes reported patient care and process issues and serves as the RAC-R grievance committee.
PI Case Review Request
The East Texas Gulf Coast Regional Trauma Advisory Council and our stakeholders shall conduct ongoing performance evaluation through quality indicators to ensure continued compliance with regional guidelines.
